COMMUNITY PROGRAM
Ski at School will have activities for you all over the Outaouais this winter. Select your MRC and come ski with us!
- Spring Break
The loan of cross-country skiing equipment will be free for EVERYONE during spring break. The Mont-Bleu loop of the Relais Plein Air is a perfect place for simple and accessible family fun.
- From March 7 to 11, 2023

60-90 minute sessions
Departures: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 397 Bd de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau, QC J8Z 3P9
A form is required for your equipment.
- Mini-Marathon
Ontario and Quebec Teaching staff, give your students a dream day of cross-country skiing and register your groups for the Mini-Marathon in Papineauville. A 15KM journey, a festive atmosphere and playful participation medals!
- February 10, 2023
- Louis-Joseph Papineau School, Papineauville (transportation required)
- The Great Ski Trek
High school students will ski the incredible distance of 120KM over 4 days, from Maniwaki to the Relais Plein Air in Gatineau (Hull). Quite a challenge that you can encourage in your own way. Write to us for more details.

- Family cross-country skiing weekends (Messines)
Come and ski in Messines every weekend this winter. Loan of free equipment on site for the whole family!
- Saturdays and Sundays, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

- Skiing with the Maniwaki Friendship Center
Young people from the Aboriginal communities of Maniwaki and the Kitigan Zibi reserve are invited to join the special cross-country ski outings led in collaboration with the Maniwaki Native Friendship Center.

- Salt & Pepper cross-country ski club for seniors
Are you 55 or older and would like to have fun outdoors this winter? Join our brand new club for seniors in the Pontiac. It’s free, our bilingual team will accompany you with advice and the loan of equipment is included. It will be easy and fun to get moving!

- Main club location: Pine Lodge, Bristol

- Collines Senior Ski Club (CSSC)
Join the new cross-country ski club for seniors in the MRC des Collines this winter. It’s free, our bilingual team will accompany you with advice and the loan of equipment is included. It will be easy and fun to get moving!
- December 2022 to March 2023
- Main location of the club: Nakkertok, Val-des-Monts
Weekly outings will allow participants to visit several other trail networks during the season.

- Chelsea Carnaval
It is possible to ski for free as a family during the Chelsea Carnival! Equipment for the whole family and fun guaranteed.

- Ski Day with the Mayor of Chelsea
Mr. Pierre Guénard, mayor of Chelsea is a real ski enthusiast, was a coach for many years and gives you an appointment for a guided outing. Free equipment!

- 60-90 minute sessions. Departures: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- Family Ski Days at L'Ange-Gardien (Chamboisé Site)
Come and ski with your family on a perfect loop for children and beginners, set in the superb nature of Ange-Gardien. Equipment provided free of charge for the whole family!
- January 28, February 18 and March 4, 2023
